Blanc comme neige (1948)

Blanc comme neige is a French film comedy first released in 1948, directed by André Berthomieu.  The film stars Robert Berri, Charles Bouillaud, Bourvil, Albert Broquin and Pauline Carton.  Our overall rating for this film is: mediocre.


Léon Ménard leaves his home in the country to find work in Paris, hoping that he will soon marry his sweetheart Charlotte.  A suspicious stranger named Bob finds him a job as night watchman in a hotel.  Bob relies on Léon’s naivety to break into the hotel and steal the jewels of a wealthy Dutchman,  Monsieur Van Dongen.  When the theft is discovered, Léon is the obvious culprit...
