“I played the original Ice Warrior, Varga.  Filming the show was challenging and taxing, since the costume was both awkward and unyielding, and my ability to manoeuvre heavily curtailed.  Despite all this, and the fact that I lost the titanic struggle, I enjoyed playing Varga and being part of such a distinguished and successful series.”
