Synopsis
At the time of Bonaparte’s Italian campaign, a girl named Angelina is loved by three young men, Théotime, Sylvain and Jean-Marie.  Of these three, it is Sylvain whom Angelina most loves.  She is therefore surprised and hurt when he enlists in the French army.  When she loses contact with Sylvain, and with Théotime opting for a monastic life, Angelina has no choice but to marry Jean-Marie.   Several years later, Angelina’s daughter Evelyne is caught in a fierce snow storm.  She is saved by Théotime and his faithful dog Barry...
