Au long de rivière Fango (1975)

Au long de rivière Fango is a French film first released in 1975, directed by Sotha.  The film stars Romain Bouteille, Sophie Chemineau, Christine Dejoux, Patrick Dewaere and Ben Mangelsohots.  It has also been released under the title: Along the Fango River.  Our overall rating for this film is: mediocre.


Two young men, Jeremy and Bild, find themselves in a strange land which could be a million miles from the urban jungle they are used to.  Here they come across a community of a few dozen people who are living in perfect harmony with nature.   Bild is here to find his long-lost mother, whom he believes to have founded this happy community.  Things are not quite what they seem, however, even in paradise...
