Summary
At a seaport in the south of France, five sailors set off on shore
leave, determined to amuse themselves. The five friends agree to
go their separate ways and meet up in half an hour’s time at an inn
with a girl. The one who turns up with the least attractive girl
will be the one pays for their round of drinks. Jean, a
dreamer and the least likely Don Juan of the group, surprises his
friends when he appears with the most attractive girl - Yvonne, the
young serving girl at an inn named La Belle frégate.
Whilst Jean tries to make a good impression by showering Yvonne with
presents, his friend René sets out to impress her with his
physical prowess...
